Mobile In-App Ad Monetization Worldwide eCPM Performance Report May 2020

After two months of eCPMs trending down during the peak of the Covid-19 lockdowns, the eCPMs are showing encouraging signs in May.

After two months of eCPMs trending down during the peak of the Covid-19 lockdowns, the eCPMs are showing encouraging signs in May.

If you’ve been following the eCPM reports in March and April, you would find that the overall eCPMs around the world had been dropping as many parts of the world went into lockdown due to Covid-19.

As people and businesses more or less adapted to the new normal in May, the eCPMs of ads also seemed to have stabilized overall too. There were optimistic trends in many countries where, compared to March and April, the eCPMs generally remained flat or decelerated its decrease and, in some countries, even trended back up.

In this report, we took a deeper look into the eCPM performance over the past four months of five countries around the world: the U.S., the U.K., Russia, Japan and Brazil.
